BCCT contracts with British Consultancy Limited to act as manager of the charity and to provide the general management team. BCCT also engages Regional Managers and others too carry out specific roles. In addition BCCT has in various countries local representatives known as BROs (BCCT Representative Officers). The BCCT team members are Volunteers who only receive very modest recompense dependent on achievements. Most Volunteers previously worked with BESO.

The small specialised team works with minimum delay and maximum effectiveness, making good use of modern electronic communications to keep costs low.
